? About Walmarts new COupon Policy....

I read that Walmart will now except Target coupons. How does this work?
When I pay for my item does the target coupon actually scan or do they have to get a manager to approve it and it becomes a big hassle?

Also if I am at walmart can I use a Target coupon with a manufacture coupon for the same item how I can at target?

IE.

Target has the Nivia Happy sensations lotion for $5.04. There was a $3 coupon in this past weeks paper. Plus target has a $1 coupon making this lotion $1.04 at target. Issue is target has been out of stock on this lotion forever! (this week lol). So can I use the same senerio (using both manufacture coupon ($3) and target coupons ($1) at walmart on this lotion?

My Walmart will only give you the Target price if the coupon has a specific price on it---not a cents off...then you can use a manufacturer's coupon as long as it is not a coupon that is only accepted at another store.

Currently our grocery store has coupons in their ad that state it is a manufacturer's coupon---Ragu Sauces for .99---My walmart is giving everyone the price match for .99 without the coupon because the coupon, even tho it says manufacter's also has the piggly wiggly symbol on it which means it is only redeemable there. However if you have a regular manufacter's coupon for .50 off then yes they will take that as they are price matching the other stores price and not using the coupon.

I hope this helps. What I would guess is that the Target price of 5.04 will be matched and then the 3.00 coupon can be used---I do not believe they will give you the 1.00 off target coupon but----all stores do things differently---it does not hurt to ask..

A lot of people here may not realize that Walmart has revamped/clarified its coupon policy -- especially, since on forums (such as this one), customers had been reporting different experiences with redeeming the Disney Blu-ray coupons.

How often would you ever see a price printed on a coupon vs. an amount of? For example, I live in Florida and we have Publix here. They are very good with providing there own coupons. This week there is a $2.00 off Hellmans mayonnaise. So would walmart take that one?

According to WMs policy -- no, because the $2.00 is a specific amount off.
