?? about upgrading or adding days to MYW passes

Okay we were at WDW in Jan. I bought 10 day passes for us..with no exp. and park hopping. We used 6 days..have 4 left. Now we are going back in Nov. We need more than 4 days...so how much do you think it will cost to add 2-3 more days. We plan on doing Universal a day or two and maybe a non park day. So...is there a chart somewhere I can find out approx. what i might cost for this upgrade. Do they take the price of say a 10 day ticket and ded. what is left on yours and figure it that way.

You may not add more days to (what was once) a 10 day pass, at least the last I was told. (You may not add more than one day to a 9 day pass, etc.)

But you may trade the remains of your pass (4 days out of ten remaining means the trade value is about 40% of gate price for MYW passes) towards a new pass that has all the attributes on your old pass that were actually taken advantage of.

Because in your case trade up requires non-expiration on the new pass, consider the following choices before making your final decision:

1. Buy all new 10 or 7 day non-expiring passes for your November trip. Use up the remains of old passes only on a future trip when you don't need to buy any new passes.

2. Buy expiring passes for your November trip and save the old passes for a trip when you need 4 or fewer days.

3. Non-expiring passes are best when you expect to have at least three days left over. Therefore 8, 9, and 10 day vacations are best done with all new expiring passes.

That is an idea........just get a pass for however days we will be there this trip or trade in and put the 4 days toward a new pass.
