? about travel on a hoilday

If we go to Disney May 18th-25th will plane tickets be raised over Memorial Day weekend? We would be flying home that Saturday. We still might drive but I'm worried about how much traffic we'll hit driving home over Memorial Day weekend. It's about a 24 hr drive back to NY.

I was going to say that prices usually do increase for holiday travel. However, flying on the holiday itself is often cheaper than flying on the days surrounding the holiday.
