About to sign resale contract, and I have a few questions

I was just reviewing the resale contract sent to me for points at SSR, and I have a few questions:

If I buy this and wanted to resell down the road, could Disney change whether or not my points could be be used at the existing 14 resorts these resale SSR points are currently allowed to be used at? For example, 5 years from now Disney says contracts sold via resale can only be used at the home resort. Could this happen?

Reading the contract reminded me of the nightmare of dealing with condo associations. Can Disney assess fees to owners above the maintenance fees?

No.

Yes. It is a condo association. Disney has stepped in to lessen the blow during catastrophic events.

VB was close to taking a direct hit - but did not, so the damage was fairly minor. That is one of the concerns I have when n00bs are like, "hey, VB is super cheap - I will buy there to use at WDW..."

Existing rules allow properties to be taken out. Example: VB is getting sold/closed/destroyed.

Existing rules also allow different charts for non-home points. Example: VGF charges 10% extra for non-VGF points. But, this would be for ALL non-VGF points, not just resale points or just SSR points.

Neither of these rules allow the O14 to discriminate on resale contracts.

The reason the RIV restriction was such a big deal was because it allowed different treatment for resale on the bookings, which makes it such a big departure from O14. The fringe benefits, Blue Card, have been mostly stripped for a while now for resale, that's nothing new.

The only way your SSR contract is only good at SSR is if BVTC decides to remove the resort from the club.

If they did, all owners lose trading, no matter how points are bought. So, technically, yes, they can create that. However, it would also mean that direct points being sold at SSR would also lose trading rights.

The chances of it are pretty near 0%!
