? about Tiki room

Is the Tiki room at DL "under new management" like at WDW, or is it the old version?

It is still under the "original" management. Its one of my sweetpea's fave things to do. She says she likes this version better than the one at WDW.

We went to WDW last Thanksgiving and were very disappointed with the "new management" of thier Tiki room. We had been telling our 5 year old all about it and he even know the song. The new part of the show at WDW frightened our DS so much he began crying and wanted to leave.

We were so glad a couple of weeks ago (we hadn't been to DL for a couple of years) to find that we still have the original!! We had to talk pretty fast to get our son into it but once he saw it, he loved it!

Classic, old school Tiki Room!
I was there over the weekend and went for the first time in 20 years. Still Jose and his friends singing the same ol' tune! Like it soooo much better than the WDW version.

It is the original misus the "Offenbach" number, which tightened up the show.

I'm not wild about the "new" version, so I'm happy to hear DL still has the original.
