I feel almost guilty asking this in light of all the devastation going on nearby due to the hurricane. But here goes. . .

Due to the hurricane, my DH may have to transfer temporarily with his job in order to actually keep a job. I'm not complaining - glad he has the opportunity to do so. However, any vacation time you've got is cancelled if you do transfer.

So, we've got a cruise planned for the first week in October. Not a big deal - I bought insurance - we'll just do it later. However, we've also got 3 days planned in the parks right before the cruise. This is still doable, and my mother will just go with me and the kids. But, can I transfer everything over to her name? We're all FL residents, so she's still eligible for the FL resident rate too. We've got the Stay, Play, and Dine package booked. Is there going to be an issue transferring my DH's tickets into her name?

I would just call Disney and ask. They're usually pretty understanding in these matters.

Thanks - I'm hoping so.

Does anyone know before I call them? You know how we're sometimes more knowledgeable about things than some of the CM's. :)

After booking this package, I called back to ask a question. That CM said, "Oh you couldn't have booked this package with FL resident tickets. That doesn't exist. What's your reservation number?" . . . . "Oh Wow! I didn't know about that one."

Do the tickets already have names on them, or have the biometrics been set. If not, then it is no problem. If so, go to Guest Relations and explain the situation, with everyone's Florida ID's. I am sending you a PM.

I have just done this. We had a couple traveling with our group that could not go. Another couple was able to replace them.
When I called and explained the situation the CM just changed the names for us and everything was fine.
The policy on this is to charge $50 for any changes, but I would bet that they would understand and not charge you.
