Hi I have a ? regarding the Pack-n-Plays provided for use in the resorts. Are they similar to the regular Graco Pack n Play's does anyone have a picture of one. We are going in Nov and DD will be 14 months but refuses to stay let alone nap in our pack n play at home (we use it more as a toy box) so am wondering if the ones provided are like ours at home if I should just ask for bed rails and have her sleep in bed with me and DS with DH. Would they give me 2 bed rails for the side and bottom afraid of having her fall out of bed. Thanks

They are exactly like the graco ones, and actually may be graco brand :)

You can call housekeeping when you get to your room and ask for bedrails. We always get a pair but only use one because dd sleeps on one side of the bed and ds sleeps on the other and he doesn't need one :) You could definitely ask for 2 pairs, they wouldn't think anything of it., and then stick one of them at the end of your bed.

:)

They are regular Graco Pack N Plays. My 3 yr old, who sleeps in a bed at home, insisted on sleeping in it on our April trip. :confused3

And yes, we put the PNP in the bathroom. :upsidedow

You can rent full size cribs from several vendors. We always use Orlando Crib Rentals to ensure that the little one gets a good night's sleep too.

DD is a big toss'er and turn'er in her sleep and she was just fine in the Pack and Plays. It's bedrails for us, they're not bad at all! Heck, even ask for 3 to get one for the bottom of the bed too.

Hijacking... anyone have experience with using a CoverPlay on these? Are the Pack n Plays well kept and clean looking?

I've had a pack n play at Pop and at Port Orleans French Quarter and they were both in great shape -- very clean and sanitary. I don't know if I just got lucky both times, or if they are all well kept.

I agree. We rented a full size crib (although we used A Baby's Best Friend) when our kids were that age so that everyone would get a good night's sleep. It was worth every penny.

We have used the pack n play several times in the past. They have always been extremely clean and well kept. So well that I often wonder if they are brand new every time!

My only complaint like any pack in play is that every time DS moved I could hear him. He slept great though!

Does anyone know if there is room for a rented full size crib in the Wilderness Lodge room?

We'll be staying in a bunk bed room and I have a feeling my 2yr old daughter will not sleep well in the pack n play - she hasn't the last few overnight trips we've taken . So I would like to have the option for a real crib.

Both of my kids have wanted nothing to do with their pac n plays at home... But have always used them on vacation. I have found they are so exhausted it was never a problem! Your child will prob be fine. I have not encountered a dirty pac n play at disney yet!

Has anyone ever requested bed rails and been told that there aren't any available? Requested them on reservation and I know it's listed as "as available", but wondered about the probability of getting some or if it would be safer to order from an offsite company to be delivered to the hotel. First trip with kids and want to have all the bases covered!:wizard:

We never had a problem. Actually two trips ago, we ordered the PnP, but DD wasn't having it so probably about 10-11PM we called to get bedrails and they were brought to us promptly! :goodvibes
