? about the MYW Dining Plan

When my mom made my reservations, we chose just the MYW base tickets for my friend's and my trip in July. Now I think I'm starting to regret not opting for the dining plan. I'm just curious to know what you guys think of it? Is the dining plan really worth it? And is it possible to call WDW and make that change to my vacation reservations (adding the dining plan)? It'll be just my friend and myself going, but I'm thinking it might be nice to know ahead of time that our food is already covered. Just one less thing to worry about, you know? What do you guys think? I just need some other opinions.

My family of four(all over the age of 12) think it is worth it, and it is costing us $980 for 7 nights.

In another thread some felt that it took too much planning. I feel it actually requires less planning, cuz on vacation the last thing I want to do is BUDGET. I will still eat if I am hungry and skip a meal if I choose, same as "pay as you eat" familys will.

Totally agree with anewman.

It is more of a hassle having to budget for meals than planning on where to eat...that's the fun part.

At 35/day you can't go wrong. I just hope the dining plan is here to stay.
