About the internet service right now at WDW...

I am amazed that our wifi has been rock solid and relatively fast throughout this Hurricane. Even as I post now, I know that virtually every room here at BWV is using the wifi (almost everyone is in rooms), and many are likely streaming. I remember the times not that many years ago when DVCers struggled to get online or upload photos. I for one am very grateful to be able to amuse myself online today while we are holed up in our room.

That is great news. We have experienced the poor wifi at the BWV on past trips. Just trying to check email was frustrating, even at times when many guests were in the parks.

It sounds like the Orlando area was not hit as hard as the original forecasts had predicted. So does everything look OK there? No damage to the resort that you can see?

Our HA room is close to the lobby, so maybe we are closer to a router than some other rooms but I am really impressed that wifi hasn't been overwhelmed with traffic. And I see no damage at all around Boardwalk.

We are in the middle of 2nd hallway, standard view side, and wifi good here also.

When we were there internet was more reliable than at any other time in the past. So I'm glad to hear it'd holding up to the demands now.
