? about the Ice Cream Social

DH and I will be making our next trip in July just us two for our anniversary Has anyone done the ice cream social at Epcot just adults? What did you think of it? Was thinking of surprising DH with this as I am in charge of all planning

I know you asked about adults only at the Ice Cream Social, but we just loved it so much..I had to add my two cents

We went last year, our kids were 7 and 11. We all loved it. It's a great way to take a break and have a really yummy treat. The character interaction was fabulous. Not too much, not too little. If I remember correctly, it was only around $7 or $8 per person...it's a great deal!

I highly recommend the Ice Cream Social!

I had just found out about the ice cream social after all this time being a disney freak! I was disappointed to be told that the restaurant is being renovated and that it will be closed during our next visit. I do not know the anticipated re-open date, maybe another could help out and let you know....

The ice cream social is cute ~ your table is private because it faces out on the rotating floor so you really don't see the characters visiiting other people until they show up at your table


The ice cream was pretty plain.. I think it needs some livening up, but it was still a fun break in the afternoon for a sit down treatl

Thanks for the replies and I welcome replies from those who went with kids too! You can just respond from an adults only viewpoint also; I have kids too so both views are nice to know!

I had forgotten that it was in the Land which is currently closed We will be going in July. I wonder if it will be open again then?!

The pavilion is supposed to reopen at the end of March. Don't know specifically about the restaurant.
