About the count down?

I really think it is neat to see the countdown of people's vacations when they post. How is that done? We are scheduled there Oct. 6, 2002 and would like to start adding it to our posts.
Can you help?

What I'd like to see is a standalone countdown clock that I could possibly use as a screen saver.

The next best thing is to go to your profile and copy that long string of text that was generated when you created your countdown clock. Make sure not to grab your normal signature info. (it starts with the word script and the last word is script)

Now open notepad and paste in it there. Save the file as an HTML type file. Name the file something like "countdownclock.HTM" (no quotes).

Create a shortcut to this file on your start menu or desktop. When you double click on this shortcut, your browser will come up with the clock running.
