I hope someone here can clear this up for me. I bought annual passes, using my DVC discount, last year and validated them in November last year. They came with photo pass/memory maker, which we used that trip in November. We're going back in October with some family, most important one being my first granddaughter, who has never been there before and will be celebrating her 3rd birthday while there! My daughter just told me she bought the memory maker today. I told her that I think I still have it with my pass and since we're all connected, should be able to see all the pics taken with our group. My question is...do I definitely have the photo pass or was that a one shot deal and I already used it last year? Thanks for any help!

If you have the annual pass with the Memory Maker included, it lasts as long as the Annual Pass does. We have used our Gold Pass / memory maker for two trips already and are going back for a third, and the photos will work for all three.

If your daughter will be hitting the parks without you, she may need her own. But as long as you are there, you will want to swipe your magic band with the photographer, and it will be on your Memory Maker.
But she could swipe hers as well. I think multiple people can swipe.

However, if you are going to be there at each photo, I would have your daughter call member services (or Disney main line) depending on how she bought it - and cancel hers.

Your daughter does NOT need Memory Maker. I have the gold annual pass and have used MM multiple times since March, 2015. On our last trip my DSis and nieces came along and we got them a separate room. They visited parks without us and all of their photos showed up in my MM account because they are on my Friends and Family list in MDE. My DSis can see all photos but only I can download them. I gave DSis digital copies of all photos on a flash drive.

I agree - as long as your other family is part of your friends and family then the memory maker on your AP will include their photos.
