?? about the 1br SV that sleeps 5 at AKV?

Since we are planning just 3 nights at AKV this summer before switching to BCV....we were thinking of saving some points and staying in the new Kidani bldg. in a 1 br. that sleeps 5 unit. Especially now that I know they have an extra bathroom too. We have only stayed in 2 br. units for all our other DVC stays. So...the ages of the children will be dd 18, ds 15 and ds 10. Our plan was to sleep the boys in the sleeper sofa...is it a queen or double?? Also, is the sleep chair long enough for a person 5'6"? My dd would sleep in that? Is it like a futon??? OR what??? Any advice would be appreciated. I guess if anyong thinks we would be too crowded.....we can suck it up and use more points for a 2br. Please make suggestions!!!!

Since you would be booking a 1 BR, then yes, the sleeper would be a queen. I can't answer your chair question since I haven't seen one yet. We will be using on in November, but I suspect that someone else will answer before then.

After viewing the model at Doorway To Dreams, I would have sworn the sleeper in the one bedroom was a full size, not queen since room is needed to open the sleeper chair too. I will check around a bit for more info on this one...

Remember that the 1-br at Jambo house also sleeps up to 5, except for the value 1-br's.

The Jambo house 1-br does not have the bathroom off of the living room area.

I just looked in the sales literature and the sleeper sofa in the living room is a queen like the other DVC resorts.

So do you think that the sleeper chair is mainly or a child. I was thinking my dd would sleep in that and she is 5 feet 5. So maybe we will need a two br anyways.
