?? about Teppan Edo

Do you know what time Teppan Edo opens on a Sunday? And how long does the meal take (since it's a "show" as well as meal, I assume it's more than just "however long it takes you to eat". )

I'm considering doing this the day we leave....but we'd have to leave the park by 2pm to get to the airport.

I was hoping I could make an 11am ADR and be out of there by 1, so we could lesiurely stroll through Epcot one last time before leaving. Is 2 hours reasonable?

Oh, if it matters, we'll likely have the dining plan.

I would like to know this too. I want to book it but be able to watch Illuminations at 9pm. I figured because it is a show also to plan 2 hrs and that should do???

We ate here last December for lunch. I believe we had an early time (11:30ish). So, yes they do open early for lunch. The food was great- I had the chicken and DH had the beef. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food I'd say we spend about 1 1/2 hours there- not more than 2 hours for sure. Call for ADR and good luck

Also depends on your chef.. we had the world's slowest chef.. she started before another chef and he was done and people were done eating half their food before she was done cooking.

ACk...I never would have thought 2 hours....I have a 4:00 reservation and NEED to be at the LIving Seas to get my cousins daughter from him as he and his son are doing the 5:30 Divequest....will we make it!!! Any chance of getting seated before 4:00 - would that be lunch then.....grrrrr lol

Before 4 would be lunch. I think the timing is too close unless you move up the reservation. The 2 places are quite a distance as well.

Well then he is going to have a problem....I have already moved this reservation from 6 o'clock to 4 o'clock and with a family of six it is too difficult to rearrange this again.....I wonder if he could bring me his daughter at around 5:15 or so......man he is so much work lol.

Is the lunch the same as dinner? Maybe getting a 3:30 lunch for my family would work/be possible. Should I try for earlier? Divequest is 3 hours so he wont be done until 8:30 which is way too late for us plus we would miss Illuminations.....

If it were me, I wouldn't be worried. I think I could get it done.

We ate at Teppan Edo on 5/28/08 and had a 12:15 ADR. We checked in at 12:00, were seated right about 12:15 and stayed about 1 and 1/2 hours. We lingered over our meal and dessert. Could have been out of there earlier, but we were enjoying the air conditioning-it was a hot day! The "show" was the chef cooking our food-did not really take that long. Seems like most of the people there were staying an hour to an hour and a half. We thought the food was some of the best we had on our trip. We had the steak and shrimp. Hope this helps.

Nothing like continually second guessing myself.....I changed my reservation and had to take a 3:00......now I am thinking that I should have kept the 4!!! Oh well...although we are planning on being in a different park that morning at least I wont be stressing about leaving my cousin standing there waiting for us...
