I thought that on changeover day unused credits from the first resort would expire at midnight the day of checkout yes, but the new credits begin from check in at the new resort, not from midnight that day.
Now, does that mean that for a meal on changeover day you can use up one or two credits from the previous stay and a credit or two from the new resort at the same meal?
Last year we had a split stay, but at the same resort (there was a 10 night limit, and we had 13 nights).
New credits began at check in, and old credits were good until midnight - on seperate cards.
We had a Signature meal that night, and had been told that for the 3 of us we could use the last 3 credits from the first reservation, and 3 credits from the second reservation to make the 6 TS needed - that info was incorrect (at least at the time, it may have changed since then).
The CM even got a manager, and there was no way that they could combine the credits. They ended up using 2 credits from the first reservation to pay for DH's meal, then charged the other 2 meals to our room & told us that the resort might be able to take care of it. The resort did take care of it, but it was time consuming.
I also managed to use the wrong card when getting CS breakfast. I had carefully marked the one to use with a post-it, but still managed to use the wrong one.

I realized what I did as soon as I did it, but the restaurant couldn't correct it. They did tell me to go to Guest Relations & call the resort. The resort took care of it, easily.
