You are doing two seperate packages?
That includes buying two Seperate sets of MYW park tickets.
Buying two seperate sets of park tickets could defeat the savings that some get from using the dining plan. You will be there 9 days(not counting JAN7).
lets do some basic math.
3 day base ticket for POP package
$171(b4 taxes on all examples)
6 day base ticket for WL package
$196
for a total of $36
9 day base ticket $205
If you do one package with 9 day base ticket and switch one to room only you save about $160 per person on park tickets. I know buying in different breakdown of days in each package may not be as expensive but will still be more expensive than buying just 1 set of park tickets for the ENTIRE stay even though you are spliting time at the resorts.
I am sure I am missing the reason you are doing it this way, could you fill us in?[/QUOTE
I did some research and we are doing a 6day PH at POP and a 1 day MYW Base at WL. I do have
AAA so I should recieve a small discount as well, and having 2 teenagers who eat me out of house and home, I think the dining savings will be worth it(my budget without the package is $200 a day). I am basing the dining like when we eat out here at home (ie applebee's) runs me about $50 at least when we go, and that is an appetizer and entrees. I know that WDW will be even more expensive when it comes to table service,so I think the savings will be there. Plus it is a dream vacation and I don't want to have to tell the kids you can't get that it's too expensive, or omit certain restaurants that I would like to try because they are too expensive.
I do appreciate your advice, that is why I love these boards.
