? about Southwest Rapid Reward Availabilty

Is there a way to check on line if a flight is available using a reward if the reward has not been deposited into your account yet? I should be having a reward by next week when my statement rolls. Just trying to get a jump on the planning.

No you can't. You have to enter your Rapid Rewards number in order to search for Reward tickets.

I do have a RR on my account. If you give me what you are looking for, I can check for you.

Or generally, if there are flights available in the lower tier of pricing, it's available. Right now pricing for BDL- MCO for July- August Ranges from $114-307 in the Wanna get away fares. $114 and $146 are elligible for RR use, $162 and above are not.

Generally it's the lower two- tiers of fares. For my market (BLD-MCO) it seems it usually has to be under $150.

The only exception to this has been that recently I found they opened up higher priced seating in the week before travel.

SO, If you find that your first choice for a flight is not available, but your second choice is, book the second choice, then 7 or 6 days before travel check back and see if your first choice is now available.
