? about resort availability..

Hi, everyone. I am contemplating a trip to WDW for the Star Wars days and Epcot Flower Festival..makes everyone happy. I have been reading up on the boards about renting DVC points-can anyone who has recently made reservations tell me if there is still anything available (studios) the last week or so of May and the first two weeks of June,especially BWV AND BCV, or should I start looking at the other resorts?TIA! (love this board!)

You should contact someone on the rent trade board about renting points, and when you do that, they can check your dates and resort preference and ujnit size preference. Since that information can change by the minute, that would be your best tactic.

Thanks for the info. I sorta wanted to check here first after I noticed a sticky at the top of the rent/trade board about not asking that kind of info on that board. I am waiting till I get my tax refund before trying to find points to rent and am getting antsy about finding anything. Here's hoping it goes well!

I'd think June would be hard for BW or BC studios - its only three months out. You'll probably be able to find something at SSR or OKW.

I agree with Crisi that you will have to be a bit flexible with WHERE you stay. Just be certain what size unit you want, and leave the rest to chance. All DVC resorts are nice, and the location, while very important, wont make or break a trip. After all, you will be at WDW and on property! Good luck!

I will say that I booked two studios at OKW for the first week of June with no problem, but that was about 3 weeks ago, and as Diane said, availability can change minute to minute. I had a one bedroom booked, but some friends wanted to go along, so I switched to studios.

Thanks for the replys! I plan on being flexible with resorts, actually even flexible with dates as far as that goes. Mostly wondering about my preferences. As someone else said-I'm at Disney, what could be bad
Also plan on spending a few hours/afternoon "resort hopping- I want to see what some of the resorts look like, especially the pools, and try some of the restaraunts....
