? about Renewal Annnual Passes

Hello, just wondering if anyone know the answer to this:
I renewed my AP and upgraded from a socal to a deluxe. I got my new passes in the mail already but my old passes don't expire until Aug.8th. Do I have to wait for the old ones to expire before I can use the new ones or are the new ones valid?

Your new passes are valid now. The old ones won't work anymore. Have fun!

Yay! I was just wondering because the new passes have the same expiration date as the old ones 8/8/10 so if I used them now I would have them for more than a year.... maybe that's the "perk" for renewing early? Thanks a lot!

Yup, that's a perk, you are now a Deluxe AP holder and can go to the parks any day that is not blacked out. Enjoy!
