?? about Pop Century opening??

I just realized that I'm scheduled to be at WDW one week before Pop Century's scheduled opening. Has any resort announced a few months in advance that they'd suddenly be opening early? And if so, do they usually offer discount rates to encourage people to maybe change plans and stay there? Although I already have ressies for my whole trip, I think it would be so neat to spend the first night in a brand new resort. But more realistically, assuming it's not open yet, do you think there'll be any resort transportation running yet for htose of us who might like to go over and see it? I remember how neat it was to see BCV last June, just a week before it opened, but of course, we could just walk over there. What about Pop Century? Any clues based on previous resorts? I was kind of hoping that maybe there'd be a soft opening, maybe the food court or pool (we're DVC members so hopefully we pool-hop), anxious to "check it out".
