???about Poly Conc (Tahitti Bldg)

Has anyone ever stayed in Conceirge in the Tahitti Bldg at the Poly. We just booked 3 nights in Sept (for our 1st anniversary) and were told that the Hawaii Bldg is closed for renovations (reopening the day we check out), but there are some conceirge rooms in Tahitti. Any idea what the view will be? We were hoping for a MK view.

Tahiti will house the concierge while the Hawaii Longhouse is refurbished. You will need to have a concierge lagoon view to have a MK view. From what I have read Tahiti has magnificant views of MK, and you definitly won't be disappointed in this longhouse.

We stayed in tahiti building in the early 90s . it does have wonderful views of the Castle and MK. IMHO better than Hawaii , the reg concierge building.
The rooms are also a little bit larger than the ones in Hawaii if i recall correctly.
The one downfall to tahiti is the walk to the GCH, it is a trek. It was easier for us to go to TTC to catch the monorail than go to GCH.
Check out Tikimans site, It is very informative about everything to do with the Polynesian resort. Great photos, a map,and an
arieal (sp?) shot of the resort with name to all the longhouses.
