? about pickup at airport

I will be picking up my DH at MCO. He will be arriving 1 week after us. My ? is where do you park to pick him up. We will have a rental car. Can we park and go inside and wait on him to arrive, or is it easier to wait somewhere for him in the car?

I would wait for him in the terminal.

Many pylons holding up the canopy outside look alike. It is easy to be waiting in vain in one place while your party is waiting in vain a short distance away.

You will also need to know where the car areas (as opposed to the bus areas and taxi areas and shuttle areas) are. You might not be permitted to stop in a bus, etc. area long enough for your party to run after your car.
