? About picking up Disney Visa Rewards card at DTD

I got the Disney Visa card just recently. I did not have the minimum amount of points to request the Rewards card, so I paid off my upcoming trip. Then I find out that I mistakenly paid the day after my billing cycle ended, so the points will not be credited to me until the end of the current cycle on the 26th. Problem is I go to Disney on the 29th and the cards take over a week in the mail. So I am told I can go to DTD to guest relations to pick up the Rewards Card when I get there. UGH! I don't want to waste hours going down there as I have no interest in DTD.

Does anyone have any experience with this and know any better way? Thanks.

since my DH surprised me with the trip (I didnt know we were going till we were at the airport )

DH had did the checking with Chase.

It was very easy and didnt take that much time.

all we needed to do is go to guest relations at DTD

they will give you an envelope with the card in it--

there is a number to call to have the points transferred

it was so easy I went by myself while DH relaxed

Thanks for the response and glad to hear it isn't a hassle. I just wonder why you can't do it at another guest relations...oh well. Actually I don't know why Visa won't just send me the darn empty card!
