If we were to stay 1 night at the HRH do you get the extra hour at Harry potter in the am and get to use the express pass for the whole day that you have checked out on. Hope that makes sense ?

Sorry to be dim, but are you asking if you get it for two days? Before and after your overnight stay? Or just the day after?

Thanks everyone, I was just thinking about doing it as a surprise, but as we are already staying at OKW for 2 weeks with Dining plan, and didn't want to fork out too much extra cash, so thought about going mid morning on the
5th Oct staying that night then spending the whole next day at universal / islands to enjoy the benefits of staying there. Was worried that express pass would stop the moment we checked out. Would love to stay for longer but can't work it into the schedule for 2 consecutive nights.

I have booked the HRH for one night in October to take advantage of all the points you have mentioned, and I have also had it confirmed that you can access the hotel pool for the full day of your check-out as well, which we are certainly planning on doing after getting up early for HP 2 days on the trot

we stayed on the 11th august, it was cheaper to stay there, than just buy two days worth of fast passes.

We arrived around 7.30, checked in, our room was not ready, but we had our hotel key and fast passes.

We were allowed in the park on the day we arrived and the day we checked out into harry potter land at 8am. You could ride all three rides, the butterbeer was available to buy etc.

It worked out brilliantly, as when we came out, there was a 3 hour queue just to get into harry potter land, and the fast passes have no limit, unlike the ones you buy if do not stay, where you can only use once on each fast pass ride.

Def worth it, DH before we went was not impressed, but afterwards apologised as worked so well and saved so much time and got into HP
