We are staying at SOG and plan on doing the campfire/movie/singalong at FW one night. We have some friends that are staying off site and would like to meet us there. Is the ok, or do you need to be a disney resort guest to access the campground? I am pretty sure you have to be a resort guest, but want to know for sure before I tell my friend she won't be able to go.

Thanks!

The campfire and sing-a-long is open to anyone not just guests staying on property. Your offsite guests will park in the back lot (the front lot is where people park to check in when staying or returning to FW but it is guarded and if they are not guests (or don't have a key card for FW to get in) they won't be admitted). The two lots are side by side but poles prevent you from driving between them.

But they can go in the second entrance for FW (signs say parking for Tri-Circle D Ranch, Pioneer Hall, etc), park the car and walk to the bus stop just past the kennel. Take either an Orange or Yellow Bus to the Meadow Trading Post area and the campfire is behind the bike barn.

Have fun! :woohoo:

PS-this is the same arrangement for anyone staying offsite coming to eat at the Hoop Dee Doo Review (which we saw this past month)

PPS-the map on the "sticky" note is no longer accurate for the entrances. They have been flip-flopped in the last year or two. The guarded entrance is one on the left near the Outpost for new or returning FW guests; the parking for non-guests is the entrance on the right.
