? about November 04 MK hours

I'm curious if anyone knows why the Magic Kingdom would have closed at 7:30 pm on 2nd Friday of the month. It looks like most Fridays it is open until 9 or 10. Is it possible that they would have closed early for a special event? (And hopefully won't do it again this year!?)
I'm really disappointed that the Magic Kingdom seems to close really early the entire time we're there. I know that DL seems to be open later at the same time of year. (We always go around the 17th because that is DD's Birthday!)

It gets dark earlier in November, so they start closing earlier since they can run the parade & fireworks earlier. November hours should be out by the end of next week (9/1).
