? about non-requested preferred room

We're going to stay at ASMo, and I know that Fantasia is the preferred building. Being the tightwad that I am, I don't want to pay $10 extra a night for the room. How can I make sure I'm not put in this building? If they put me there and I didn't request it, do they still charge? I would much prefer to stay in the Toy Story or Dalmatians building, as these are the only themes my kids will recognize anyway.

They won't put you there unless you pay for it.

If for some reason they run out of standard rooms, and they must put you in the preferred, they will not charge you.
