About Mules

What I do is use a DOB that makes the mule a child, for example 2-1-94, and have a yahoo account just for the mules. Then I name all the mules like this:

mule1
mule2
mule3
mule4

etc, all with an email like this:

vmkmule@yahoo.com

Of course that isn't the exact name I use.

The yahoo account is in fact mine, I created it for VMK.

I have found that when I make a character using an email address such as "Namexyz@mailxyz.com" then I can also log in as "Namexyz" (without the email domain) and get another character. I have not created any email accounts solely for use on VMK, although by using 3 email addresses I have six characters.

I usually log them on two at a time to make the rounds of the NPCs for the free credits.

I'll log in Namexyz@mailxyz.com and Namexyz together, then log them both out and use Nameabc@mailabc.com along with Nameabc etc.

I use an excel spreadsheet to keep track of each mule's credits, pins won (fireworks, invisibility), and pirate games won etc.

Is it time for an intervention yet?

Wow my question made a lot more posts on this... thing and now i see people cant get away from the technichal lingo and now i see how much the word Yahoo reminds me of Gullivers Travels anyway another question that could put the posts together is knowing what a [ Addy ] is So What is a [ Addy ]?

It may be that he signed up for something on Disney (or abc, or espn) previously, so that his email and password are already registered. If that is the case, you won't be able to use that email in "New Players, Register Here", however you can go ahead and put it into the "Existing Players" side, and it will prompt you to create a VMK character when you enter. If he may have signed up previously, then you can either use the forgotten password on VMK, or if you go to the main Disney site, there are some other options for retrieving passwords.

That's weird because I was signed up with Disney at my main email address long before the game came out and I was able to sign up with it in VMK.

I use a very easy method for my mules. I have a sequential naming scheme for my mule email addresses. I use the same name and birthday for all of them and I do track them with a MS Word document too. So as an example if I need a new mule, I would sign up as "Jimmy Joe Smith"(just an example), Birthday "1-1-66"(another example), Email "mule_account_7@email.com"(yet again, another example - and of course the number increases by 1 as I continue to add mules). Then I add this account to my tracking document. I also include in my document the character name when it gets approved, how many credits it has, how many pirates games I have played (until it wins the magic pin) Then I mark that it has won the pin and traded it to my main account, and when I win the fireworks pin, I note that and note when I trade it to my main account also.
~~ I thought I could explain it in a more consise manner, but I guess this got a little convoluted too.

I do the exact same thing. Here I thought I was so smart, so organized.

Ok I am trying to make my first mule. As some of you know, I am new to VMK and here is my problem. I assume that in order to trade items from one of your mules to the other, they both have to be in the game. since internet explorer won't let you open two VMK game windows, I tried signing onto the other with Netscape or MSN explorer. It still tries to use the same game window that's already open with another mule and overrides it. How do you guys do it??? Someone please help I wanted to make some mules and get more stuff tonight!!!

Well I figured out that I can have two playing windows open if I use explorer and firefox...only I can't login with firefox! I put in my name and pw and just get a black screen that says "done". Anyone else had this issue with firefox? I installed Shockwave and everything.

Using another computer or a third party is not an option for me, and I really wanna mule!!!

Firefox and Internet Explorer are the easiest ways but you can get Internet explorer to open two VMK windows

1) goto http://vmk.disney.go.com/vmk/en_US/index?name=VMKHomePage this is the normal page I use to log into VMK

2) enter information and start

3) Same internet explorer window as number one copy and paste this link

It says "entering ____" and gets stuck there. It's driving me crazy!!!!

Will your method work for firefox too b/c right now that's the only browser I can play the game with!!!! ARGGG

Update: I just tried to copy and paste the link and it says the page is not available at this time (with both IE and firefox). I'm so confused. I finally get FF to work and now no other browser will let me in the game!!!

Sometimes it does that to me, especially first time in the morning when the game opens or at busy times. I just have to start over or wait a while.

Yes that method works for me on Firefox.

I've never gotten my Netscape to work again, but I did try the two I.E. windows last night, and it worked! Thanks for the heads up. Now my son and my mule were able to 'make friends'. (after I deleted some of his 'numbered' friends!)

I got it to work! My boyfriend fixed some viruses and updated my computer and now I can VMK with IE and firefox simultaneously!

Somebody on VMK told me that the way to delete a account is to Wait 3 days before going on that account then type in account name and pass word then press delete button on key board. That never worked for me but can somebody tell me if im doing something wrong and its true?

Probably not. To deleate a Disney Account you would have to log in at the regular disney.go.com

uh how would you delete a account at the main disney site? and also rats i paid that person a 5 star pirate magic for that info but good thing shes on my friend list i think if she was really trying to cheat me i dont think she would have a friend request
