? about making character meal reservations

New here. Do I need to have a hotel reservation before I can make a character meal reservation? We're approaching 180 days prior to when we plan to come, but we have not yet made hotel reservations. Thanks!

No, anyone can make a reservation. Having a hotel reservation just lets you get your ADRs at 180+10 days, meaning at the 180 day mark you can make ADRs for up to 10 days into your vacation without having to call each day.

No you do not have to be staying on Disney propery to make ADRs. You can make them at the 180 day mark. When you make your ADRs they will ask you for your home phone number. Just remember that the more popular character meals fill up quickly.
