? about love bugs

we've been there twice before in Sept and only 1 time did we see the love bugs. Do they only come out in Sept or other times of the year. They were so bad last time I couldn't enjoy the pool

They are definitely not winter bugs, I don't think. But they are in fact one of the most annoying forces on the planet.

We've always seen them when we go late September, first week of October.

thanks. I was thinking May also but thought I might be confusing myself . We normally go in May and September. searching for a new time to go but snag the free dining plan
