Okay, so I just got off the phone with someone at Disney. I called to ask what time the character dinners are at LTT (we want to have dinner there on 9/21). She told me that dinners start at 4:00 pm (I think that's what she said, it's close to that anyway). That was it! She said that the restaurant hours vary, and are not necessarily related to the park hours. She told me there are no specific times for the characters they just kinda come and go.

Now, if this is true, that's fine, I guess. We'll just have to take our chances that we'll see the characters there. This is the only character meal we are planning.

However, this seems kinda weird to me. :confused3 Don't all the other character meals begin at a specific time? And you make reservations for one of those times?

Can any of you experts please enlighten me?

The dinner at LTT is a character dinner, while the characters may change they will be there as that is the kind of dinner it is. Now lunch has no characters and has a different menu...

I am not sure of the exact time change between lunch and dinner.

There's no formal "show" to speak of. The characters circulate from table to table to greet you and allow for picture taking, and generally it takes anywhere from 20-45 minutes until all the characters at that meal make it to your table. Go ahead and book for whatever time is convenient for you and your schedule!

As long as you go for dinner, you'll see characters. The characters "work the room" then take a short break, then work the room againl. You don't have Minnie at 4:05-4:15, Goofy at 4:20-4:30 or anything like that. At any given time, most of the characters are in the restaurant greeting guests.

Thanks everyone! Now I understand! :Pinkbounc

WOO-HOO!!! Gonna see Minnie and Goofy!!!

? on LTT on MNSSHP night. I was trying for a 5-5:30 ressie. All I could get was 4:25 and 7:50. I'd really like the 4:25 simply because I don't want to "waste" an hour's party time. Travelling with my mom and 3yo DS. Not sure he will make it past 10. I asked 2 different CMs and was told the characters don't wear their costumes until 7 when the party starts?? I was asking specifically about the LTT, but I'm hoping they were talking in general about all the CM in the park. Can anyone whose eaten early at the LTT in prior years answer? I've heard it will be a lot of fun either way, but it would be great if they were in costume.

I've eaten there twice on Halloween, around 5:00 - 5:30 and they already were wearing the Halloween eye masks and aprons.
