Just having a little bit of a planning sessions with DH and we are both a little confused and thought best to ask;

Its our first time using the DDP and wondered....

When does your park tickets and the DDP become active? i.e. if we decided to not go to the parks on our first night as we will be checking in approx 7 pm and you start your 14 day ticket the day later does that apply for your DDP also?

I hope that all makes sense

Your DDP will start as soon as you check in. You will be able to go and use it in any of the resturants that participate in DDP.

All the credits are on your KTTWC when you check in so you can use it to eat the first night.

Your park ticket is activated when you go through the turnstyle.

remember all the credits will be on all cards to a room so if 2 people in room for 14 days each persons card can be used to remove any amount of snacks/meals per day

Great thanks for your help, however if say we saved a TS credit for our last morning before checkout this would be technically our 15th day can this still be done?

Your dining credits can be used upto midnight on the day you check out of your Disney resort.

Not sure if you are flying in from the UK and going straight to Disney or if you are coming from elsewhere (Universal, Miami or whatever your plans are) but something worth remembering is that you can check in before your room is ready to get your DDP and park tickets activated. So you can turn up at your resort at 6 am and check in, although your luggage will be stored and you will have to come back to check into your room later.
