Hi:
First, I know nothing about digital cameras. DH takes all the pictures and he has a 35mm with lens, etc. Anyway, we were talking about it may be time for him to get a digital, but we don't even know where to begin. We aren't looking for expensive for his first digital, but wanted something that would be good for close ups as well as distance. The local paper had an ad from Walmart and it showed a Kodak EasyShare C340 Digital Camera with Dock for $179.76 and they are calling it a Special Buy. I have no idea if this is a good camera and that's a good price. Obviously, I know that it can't be a high-ended state of the art model, but wondered if it was a good camera for someone trying their first digital. By the way, DH does take good amateur pictures with his 35mm, so I would like to find him a nice camera. Any help would be great. Thanks so much.
