I was at WDW last Dec and It's a Small World was closed for refurb. Did they change anything or is it the same? Going this Dec and just wondering!

What they did was change the facade, inside the queue area, made it look a little more like the one at DL and they rehabbed the dolls and repainted everything on the inside. They did a good job, looks brand new!

The front area changed and they added a clock that had different things happen every 1/4 hour. They also upgraded the sound system and re-did some of the dolls to either clean them up or make them more politically correct. We think it is nicer now.

We were there in July....if we were not aware of the changes ahead of time, I am not sure we would have noticed....and we go at least every year....

the thing we noticed the most when we entered was how bright it seemed. You can see and appreciate the dolls so much better now. It was much needed and a great refurb because it didn't change the integrity of the ride. :cool1:

Everything looked "cleaner" and brighter!!! Love the new loading area!! My DD (2) loved the "babies"!!!!

I remember when we went in '03, almost all of the dolls were dusty and there were visible cobwebbs everywhere. It looked run down and a bit icky. I'm glad they cleaned it up finally. I still can't get that song out of my head since last trip. :rotfl:
