Is it the whole boat you are buying gifts for? Or is the group smaller? Just want to know before I sign up and can't afford it. :)

Each cruise group decides. My next cruise we capped at 15 cabins. I have seen some 10 and some 20. It would not be the whole ship.

Up to each group to decide. I've been in groups of smaller numbers and a group where we opted not to split. Entire ship. No groups. I forget how many staterooms it was but I know the total of people in the rooms was well over 100.

My first group was 20 and my second group was 10. It depends on the FE to decide. sweetpee_1993 over 100!? WOW:scared1:

Over 100? That would get pricey in a hurry. What were some of the gifts you gave/received?

Oh it's been almost 4 yrs ago. So hard to remember! I think this being an 8-night I did for a family gift laundry care packets: zipper mesh bag w/clothes pins, Tide pods, & drier sheets. Teen boys I'm pretty sure I did the reusable water balloons: sponge strip balls in a mesh zipper bag. Girls got button bracelets that I made. I think I gave some trading pins to kids. Also some vinylmations. Adults I think I did little bottles of liquor (packaged carefully..yeah..I was one of *those* people :rolleyes1 ) It's hard to remember! I can't remember just what I spent. I didn't do the crazy extravagant things people do nowadays. But I did try to be thoughtful and make vs. buy. What did we get? Hmmmm....well...a lot of candy.....

I did two, both were 10. I think small groups are better as you can customize without going crazy. I like to do individual plus a cabin gift, so more than 10 would get quite expensive. I stress out...but it's so much fun and worth it.

I plan my groups split into 11, then you give to 10. Some people like bigger groups so opt to join more than one group. My very first cruise had 96 in the FE group, I vowed never to have that nightmare again!

Our group has ten families. Some others in our sailing have twenty. I personally wouldn't want to go over ten, as I like to give nice little gifts without breaking the bank, and also don't want it to become a hassle.
