My DS almost 3 is 40 inches with his shoes on, they are not extremely high shoes either, just skechers. Has anyone been recently and seen if CM's are asking you to take the child's shoes off to check their height. I haven't been in a couple of years and just wondering how strict they are with the height requirement. If he doesn't have his shoes on, he is a hair shorter than 40 inches.

Your son will love Star Tours - and I agree with you that the Barnstormer is much more jerky and dangerous than some of these 40 inch height requirement rides. By the way - my 4 year old loved Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and Test Track. He was just tall enough to ride this past December. Not trying to persuade you or anything, but if he meets the height requirement and wants to rides them - then giving these rides a try might be a blast! I also felt very secure with how my son fit into the ride itself especially Splash Mountain and Test Track. On Big Thunder Mountain I held onto his leg the entire time! He kept telling me to let him go, but you know how Moms are!
