Hey, so this has probably been asked about a million times.. but Im 25 and have never been out @ Disney 4 drinks:eek: .. So I was wondering where the best place to go out where there's ppl my age. Also, I'd rather stay @ Disney 'cause I don't want any of us to drink @ drive:hippie: Any ideas?

Personally I'm a fan of the resort bars but they can be really hit or miss on the crowds depending on when you go. No guarantee on consistently finding a 20-something age group. But, if you're going with a bunch of people, a monorail drinking tour can be a LOT of fun - my personal favorite stop being the bar at Ohana ;)

Also have you tried Atlantic Dance Hall at Boardwalk? That's the only 21+ venue on property that I'm aware of. It can be a pretty good time.

And finally, again this works best with a group, but you could always just go drinking around the world at Epcot. I've done that a couple times and it gets very entertaining very quickly...

Cheers.

We were down in disney this past October and went to Atlantic Dance Hall and it was pretty crowded. We have been going there for quite a few years and it was always pretty empty (we were married there in 2008). It was so great to see the place busy, the music was great and there were alot of people on the dance floor. Jellyrolls right next door is also alot of fun. I would definately check out The Boardwalk for some evening fun.

I like Raglan Road at Pleasure Island. has anyone tried the new tequila place in "Mexico"-World Showcase?

Sunday night, House of Blues for "Service Industry Night." Always a crowd of young-to-mid 20-somethings.

Otherwise, try Atlantic Dance, at least Friday/Saturday, or maybe Jelly Rolls (Tuesday is still Cast Member night there, haven't been in months but used to pull a decent, younger crowd).

Not what you want to hear, but nothing on property will compare with CityWalk. Worth the effort of convincing someone to be designated driver.

Or just budget for a cab/shuttle.

In some ways it depends on what you are looking at for your drinking experience.

Jellyrolls and the Atlantic Dance Hall are the only 2 "clubs" that I'm aware of that are still onsite.

You have the resort bars available.

And there are several restaurants (with bars and entertainment) at DTD.

And then there is always World Showcase. Drinking around the World cannot be missed at least once in your life. Even if you aren't going hardcore with a drink at every country, There is enough variety and things to be seen that it's worth walking around the lagoon and sampling the various drinks available. We found last time I was there that it forced us to slow down and enjoy the scenery (and people watching) since we'd get a drink and often find someplace to sit to drink it, or occasionally take a leisurely stroll to the next country while working on the tasty beverage.

I have been a couple of times:
once it was so crowded that you could not find a seat, so just got a drink to go from the bar.
next time DW and I found a seat, had a drink delivered, they have some munchies but we did not find anything that we liked at that time, and the deco is nice.
They have a four shot tequila tray, if you take yours straight.:drinking1

Thanks! A lot of those places sound pretty great. Boardwalk is no. 1 on my list :teacher: Plus, I heard theres those LapuLapu pineapple drink thingies @ polynesian.. yumm.
