? about going around Memorial Day weekend

Just tossing around the idea of trying to make a long weekend at WDW around Memorial Day weekend and just wondering crowd levels.. Ive been over Labor Day and it wasnt too bad.. we used FP where we could and other than that standing in lines was kept to not more than 15 minutes.. Is it comparable to that?

Also, would it be best to go down the Friday before and have that extra day or stay until the Tuesday afterwards? Just wondering which of those 2 days might be less crowded.. Im thinking the best bet is to stay until Tuesday..

We went this past Memorial day weekend. We arrived on Friday left Monday night. Other then being hot and humid we didn't find the crowd levels that bad. We got to the parls when they opened left after lunch and went back in the evening. We used Fast Paseses and did everyhting we wanted to do.

I would not hesitate to go back then.

I have been there that week about 5 years now. Never really a problem, just hot. I used TGM this year and his what park/what day was right on. Never crowded where I was.

I agree with Dan. It is really not that bad. The crowds start picking up when all of the schools are let out - by mid-June, Disney is a madhouse.

oooh I forgot about school getting out around that time of year.. it still sounds like it might be a good time to go.. I originally was going to go over Labor Day but I dont want to wait that long to go back.. I could go at any time but Im trying to utilize that extra day that I'll get off of work so I can have an extra day without using another day of vacation.. This way I'll just use one day..

We went Memorial Day weekend in 2005, and it wasn't bad at all. I was pleasantly surprised, actually!
