I was thinking about a 2006 cruise and I was wondering if I book it now to get the early booking discount can I also transfer the onboard credit and discount when we cruise. I suspect the booking on board stuff is for new reservations only. We are not cruising until July 2005 so I don't know which would be better if I can't transfer to the onboard discount... Early booking Vs. onboard discounts, which is better? Thanks, Amy

Last year, we made reservations for our Decemeber cruise in January. Then, in March we went on the Wonder. We rebooked our rooms for December, but at the March prices (not January- I think the price had gone up about $75). It was still a good deal and we were able to hold on to the rooms we originally picked.

If you definitely are going to cruise in 2006, I'd go ahead and book now. When you cruise in July 2005 go talk to CM about booking and compare the prices. You can then keep your original booking or cancel it and rebook while on board. HTH

We booked our Oct' 05 cruise direct with Disney in May this year and the same cruise is currently priced at around $300 more.
