?about full housekeeping and trash and towel.

I just got my confirmation for our summer stay. We arrive at OKW on July 25 and depart on August 7......13 nights!! My confirmation says............

Housekeeping Trash/Towel service: 08/01
Housekeeping Full Service: 7/28 08/05

Does this sound right???? Sounds backwards to me but I guess I shouldn't complain getting 2 full service cleanings............

That's right. The system is to alternate T&T and full cleanings. With a stay of 8 nights or more they start with the full cleaning. They do it that way so that folks who are leaving after 8-9 nights aren't getting a full cleaning a day or two before leaving. Nice long trip you've got planned! That's also an advantage to staying put at one resort, you get the benefits of the cleanings. Full cleaning -- T&T -- Full cleaning (stay another few nights and you'll get another T&T).

That is correct. On stays of 8 nights or more the schedule is:

Day 4 - Full Cleaning
Day 8 - Trash & Towel
Day 12 - Full Cleaning

You can ask housekeeping to switch the dates if you like.

WOW!! That is a nice surprise!! I thought it was a mistake but am very happy to hear otherwise!! So now there are 2 days on vacation I won't need to make the beds!!!

You might even get lucky like we did last time, and get two T&T days in a row! Someone must have gotten their wires crossed, because we had two T&T days in a row!

That's ffunny that you said that Diane. We had the same thing this past summer. Had 2 days in a row with T & T!! No laundry that night for me!!

Hubby and kids should be making the beds anyways. Isn't this supposed to be a vacation, after all?

Yes they should Pumpkinboy, but unfortunately I can't leave a bedroom without the bed being made!!! It is awful!! If I left it up to them, it would never be made and drive me crazy!! I can't come downstairs in the morning at home unless the beds are made!!

On vacation I am not so meticulous with making the bed. Just make sure the covers are pretty much pulled up and the pillows off the floor if they fall off the bed!!

We have the sheetrock walls mostly painted, but are waiting for the rest of the radiant heat system to arrive so we can install floors and cabinets, etc.

OMG!! That is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Best of luck putting on the finishing touches!!! You'll have to update me when it is finished! I've enjoyed watching it be built..........much better than watching my own!! LOL!!
