We are going to US/IOA for the first time in Oct. We are staying at Royal Pacific so we get FOTL passes right? If I am understanding what I am reading, then the Express pass is something you buy and is only good for 1 ride on each attraction. The FOTL pass is something that you get for staying onsite and can be used over and over - correct?

What rides offer these passes? Does the express line by-pass the themeing in the queue area or do you just go through it much faster? If it by-passes, which rides would be worth standing in the regular line just to see the queue - if any?

Thanks for your help!

You will get unlimited Express access (there is no such thing as a FOTL pass) for all participating attractions at both parks. The only attractions that do not offer Express are the Rockit at the Studios and the Pteranodon Flyers at IOA. The Express Plus passes you purchase are only good for one time through the Express line.

The down side to using EPs is you will miss all details in the queues except for The Forbidden Journey so you should try to do the standby lines at least once to see the details. I wouldn't wait more than 30 minutes in the standby line. Most attractions have a separate Express line but again it bypasses all the details in most cases.

You will not have a separate express pass. You room keys serves as the express pass, so make sure you have everybody's room key when you go to the parks.
