So my last cruise was scheduled for Sept '19 ( I know a lifetime ago) and was cancelled due to Hurricane Dorian so I've been holding onto my discount since then.. it expires Sept '22 like all the other discounts. I have had another kiddo since then so I am interested in booking two rooms instead of one. I know the discount follows the person (meaning my youngest will be full price) but will they apply it to everyone who qualifies regardless if we aren't in the same room? Waiting on hold to ask and to possibly move our sailing but wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar experience. Thanks!

I'm not sure how the hurricane-specific discounts work, but you would not be able to convert a placeholder discount from a single room to two rooms because it is linked to a specific reservation number and each room has its own reservation number. But for something like the bonus FCC discount you can split up rooms because those are tied to the names/birth dates of the individuals rather than to a specific reservation number. So i guess it just depends on whether the hurricane discount is tied to the reservation number or the individuals. Does the documentation you have say anything about that? If not yeah, probably just have to wait for the endless hold times to ask someone on the phone.

Granddaughter was in a room different from her parents last week on Fantasy. Her mom added her to their onboard account and her OBC lumped in with theirs. We had several cruises booked and supposedly any excess FCC gets applied to the next cruise as OBC. Theirs worked well.

Ours? We had three cruises booked and were told only one FCC could be applied to a cruise and generate OBC after we got onboard. So our Fantasy cruise was going to have $38 OBC and our 5 day Magic cruise in February $2300. Guest Services fixed the problem so we could spend the large OBC on the largest cruise.
