I have a question. I know that I can upgrade my MYW park hopper ticket b/c it does not expire. I am thinking of possible upgrading it to an annual pass. I have two adult tickets that both have 8 park days and 9 fun visits left. Has anyone done this? Does anyone know how much they give you toward your unused days? Also, do you still get the discounted DVC price? Thank you for your help.

Unless something has changed, the tickets have to be upgraded within 14 days of first use. I also had some NE MYW tickets that I checked on upgrading, but some of the days had been used on a previous visit, so they were not able to upgrade them.

You may use the tickets, but you can NOT upgrade them.

this is correct, I talked to them about this in June when I was there. 14 days is when it has to be done.

Hang onto the tickets for the fun visits. Some people use those extra fun visits for a few years instead of getting more expensive PAP's every year.

This is our plan. We got 10 day NE MYW tickets on the last trip we took before we had kids. We've used most of the park days, but still have 10 fun visits per ticket. We're saving them until the kids are old enough to enjoy the water parks and such. Then we'll plan a trip to burn these tickets and not go to the regular parks at all. (Well, in theory at least!)
