This is going to conflict with my vacation, so here's my question. # 1 we aren't staying on property so if this is the case does that mean we will get chucked out and not get to see the fire works or Fantasmic???? What Hours are the usual extra 3? I am very confused about this and wish I would have known before I booked as we were on the edge with off propery or on???

Sorry ... posted too early. OK ... here's a better answer.

During the "test week", there's only one evening magic hour (Wed) at MK, so if it does affect Wishes, you do have several other options for days that you're in MK that week. Wishes is scheduled nightly throughout that week, so you'll have other nights available. Same is true of Fantasmic. The three "extra hours" will vary in the evening, depending on when the park was scheduled to close.

Guests who are not eligible for the Extra Magic Hours benefit will be directed to the park exit upon park close. In order to stay in the parks for EMH in the evening, you'll need a wristband, which you need to get prior to park close, by showing your resort ID.

For planning purposes, here's the schedule of EMH days from May 9-22:

Sunday - Epcot (evening)
Monday - Disney's Animal Kingdom (morning)
Tuesday - Disney-MGM Studios (evening)
Wednesday - Epcot (morning); Magic Kingdom (evening)
Thursday - Disney's Animal Kingdom (evening)
Friday - Magic Kingdom (morning)
Saturday - Disney-MGM Studios (morning)

This shouldn't affect any fireworks, parades etc. What it will do is just give on-site resort guests more time (between 1-3 hrs) after the normal park closing hours to enjoy the park.

It shouldn't affect your plans at all since you're staying off-site. You should just plan according to the regular hours schedule.

NOOOOOOO!!

See I've never been able to attend an E-ride night and honestly would only be interested in doing MK... but of course it's on Wednesday---our traveling days. We'll miss it going home and we don't have a park pass for the day we arrive:(
