Okay we are staying at SOG for our first part of the trip and we want to eat breakfast at Trails End. I have eaten dinner there but I hear the most rave reviews on the breakfast. SO, I was thiking of making our way there the morning we check out of SOG headed to CS. I was thinking that it would be easier and closer to drive vs. getting the boat. SO has anyone ever driven there? Is it hard to get to the Trails End? I know we have to park and then take an internal bus. I am just curious?

Also, is it basically the same type of food as far as taste goes that you get at any WDW breakfast buffet just cheaper? So maybe we should try somewhere else that might not be as complicated to get to?

TIA

Walk over to Poly from Sog or from the TTC and take a boat to Fort Wilderness and the Trail's End Buffet. Leave your car at SoG then return the same way. I think that is the easiest way. When you drive over you have to park your car then take a bus to the restaurant. So either way you are taking a bus.

You would need to take 2 boats - one to MK, and then one to Ft Wilderness. Trail's End is just up the dock ramp to the right.

My preference would be boat - that internal bus loop at Ft Wilderness can be long....

You can flame me if you want, but the easiest way for me would be:

1. Drive to CR/WL
2. Boat from CR or WL to FW

Since you can park at the resorts for 3 hours anyway, that would be the fastest, easiest way to get to Trails End.

Poly has a boat to the Wilderness Lodge and to Fort Wilderness so you do not have to take two boats. :sunny: It does go to Magic Kingdom as well. Sort of makes a circle around the lake.
