We received an offer for a Disney Premiere Credit Card---basically it said if we spend $500 in the first 3 months of having the card, we will receive a $200 Disney Gift Card. AND the annual fee of $49 is waived for the first year. DH and I are both a little hesitant. We want to know if there are any offers out there similar to this one for just the regular Disney Credit Card. Anyone know?

Haven't seen or heard of anything close to that right now. I got mine when they 1st came out (standard and Premium) and best I got was fee waived(premium card) one year and 100.00 credit on original card. I'd jump on it and satrt saving for your next trip.

Thank you Wilderness Fan! I think we may take advantage of the offer but we will have to cancel the card before the next year because there is no way I'm going to pay $49 to have a credit card.

Well I normally agree but with this card it is ok with me. I charge EVERYTHING in my life. A normal month is around 3000.00 With the extra 1% on gas and groceries alone I get an ADDITIONAL 15-20 Disney reward dollars into my account. So you can see that at the latest I am break even at the 3 month point. That's 9-10 months in my favor. I , of course, pay off the card every month or this would all be useless if I was paying interest. So if you handle your bill paying in a similar way take a closer look. Now I could get a little more with Discover I think, but enjoy saving for the next trip with Disney Visa. Actually just did the same with United Explorer card. It's 90.00 ayear to have but will cover your bags roundtrip for 2 people. It's 100.00 for our bags out of Chicago to Orlando anyway so we are 10.00 ahead and it comes with some other benefits. If we fly twice in a year I'm up 110.00:banana:

Hmmmm, okay. Yes, we pay off any credit card use the very same month so NO interest. We don't really charge a lot but may if we have the Disney card.
