? about Disney Dining Plan

OK we are going in June and I think the dining plan might be worth it. We are a family of four 2 DS 9+12 ,DW and me. The thing is when dad is on vacation he likes to drink a beer with his meals, how can you go to Biergarten and not have a beer? Will the dining plan work and I'll be charged only for the beer? And if we do Hoop Dee Doo, will I be able to have beer with my meal? I know the HDD will count as two table service meals but the beer is included. Any help will be greatly appreciated, Thank you

You will get a bill for the items that aren't included on the meal plan. You can pay by charging to your room key, or with credit card, or cash.
