Can you share food on the dining plan at a table service rest.? There is no way that I can eat that much food and neither can my sister, so we were wondering if we could share a meal. I know this is not possible at a buffet and they would never know at a counter service meal, but I was just curious if it were possible at a place like Concourse or LeCellier? That way we would only have to use one meal on our plan. Note: We are both ADULTS.

Thanks for any input.

Yes, I think you can share without any problem but if you are sharing a room you will both have to purchase the dining plan.
I called and asked if, for example, I could go to a table service restaurant with my 13 year old daughter and if she didn't want three courses, I could use 1 table service credit, and she could order just an appetizer and we would pay for that separately. She could then share my dessert and/or appetizer. They said that would be fine.

At any of the table service restaurants you can split meals. Sometimes, if you ask, they will even do the split in the kitchen and bring the entree on two plates.

You should be able to do this. Just tell your server before ordering that you're on the dining plan and will be redeeming one meal. Then when you order your food, tell them you are just going to share - I have heard that many servers are used to this and will be glad to split the entree, bring out an extra plate, etc.

Just an FYI: Le Cellier is considered a signature restaurant - so you redeem 2 meals per adult (or 2 for the 2 of you sharing).

Hope this helps!

Are you sure the dining plan is a good option for you? It might not be if you aren't going to use all your credits.

The dining plan is $35 for adults and $10 for children per night of reservation. So you have to use all meals up within the # of days of your reservation. You can use all meals in one day or spred them out, just so you use them up during your reservation time.

I think you get value from the plan when you go to 'signature' rest. and split a meal, sig rest using 2 credits. Also, isnt there something about using the dining plan at the CRT/ PSB buffet character meals, those cost over $25 ??

Yes, it will be worth it b/c my sister is staying in a separate room and will not have the dining plan. Thanks for your responses. It's nice to know you can "split" a meal.

Poor Peanut....

He only had the costume on for as long as it took me to take the picture. Did not like it one bit! :-) Well worth the $6 for the costume though! pirate:
