I am confused about how many credits I will have. I have been told that your dining plan ends the day you check, meaning if I check out June 2nd I will not have any credits for that day?

So my question is what day is the last day for credits?
If we check in May 26 and check out June 2 how many credits will we have?

Sorry for more ???'s but I am new at this and have no idea what I am doing.

Its based on how many nights you are staying so if you are there from May 26 thru June 2 (7 nights) then you will have 7 TS credits, 7 CS credits, and 7 snack credits per person. You can use them on any day of your trip though, even on June 2. The credits expire at MIDNIGHT on the check out day.

We always remember it this way....

On check-in day, we use a TS credit for dinner.
Then, each full day we're there, we have a snack, CS, & TS credit to use.
On check out day, we're left with a snack & CS credit to use (we don't have the TS credit to use, because we used that on our arrival day).

This is how we remember what we have...but it doesn't work out that way.
We never use all our CS & snack credits each day.
Last trip, on check-out day, we had 13 snack credits to use!!
We stocked up on bottled water & Mickey head Rice Krispie treats for the trip home!

Now totally confused and wasn't before. I was told the day you check in you get 1 CS,1TS and 1 snack and the day you check out you have the same thing. Now your saying you don't ???? Please explain why

You get 1TS, 1CS and 1 snack credit for each night of your reservation -- for each $38.99 you pay, you get 1TS, 1CS and 1 snack credit.

You can still use your credits on the day you check out. They expire at midnight. You get credits per night of stay (not per day), but they are still available on check out day until midnight.

Okay so if I'm there from Thursday to Monday then that will be 4 days of DDP only so were a family of 5 so we will get 4 TS,4CS and 4 snacks only??? If this is right how did I make ADR's at 5 TS and they put it on the DDP??? 1 for CR,2 for HDDR,1 for Sci-fi,1 for CM????

You will get 1 TS, 1 CS, and 1 snack PER NIGHT, PER PERSON, and can use them any of your vacation days, up until MIDNIGHT of your check out day.

So your family of 5, staying 4 nights, will each have 1 TS, 1 CS, and 1 snack credit per night to use up until Midnight of your check out day.

Staying 4 nights, you only have enough TS credits to eat at 4 TS restaurants if everyone in your party uses their TS credits. When you call for ADRs, the CM doesn't care how many ADRs you make. She probably thought you were going to pay cash for any ADRs you made that went over your credit limits. It is our responsibility to keep track of how many ADRs we can make that will be covered under the plan.

Unfortunately, you either have to pay cash or cancel one of your ADRs.

So your family of 5, staying 4 nights, will have 20 total credits (5 TS, 5 CS, and 5 snacks) your vacation to use any way you choose up until Midnight of your check out day.

I think this might be confusing to people who don't understand.
Actually, you each will have 4 TS credits, 4 CS credits, & 4 snack credits to use how you choose, during your stay.

If you are only staying 4 nights & you booked Table Service meals worth 5 credits during your stay, you will have to pay out of pocket for one of those meals.

When you make your ADRs on the phone with a cast member, they do not keep track of how many credits you are using. That is your responsibility.

I've booked more TS meals (for our trip this summer) than I'll have credits for.
We're going to pay for one out of pocket.

So I will have 4 TS credits,4 CS credits and 4 snack credits for our 5 days at Disney. So I will now have to decide which ADR I will be paying out of my pocket. Thank you everyone for the help, I'am very glad I read this before leaving on Tuesday morning for WDW. Thought I knew the DDP but was wrong. But will now not add the option to my room key and will watch all my credits on every bill.

The DDP is on your room key and will show how many adults and how many children are covered. You will be able to track the credits on your receipts. It will start with 20 of each and go down as you use them up if they are all adult credits. If not you will have separate receipts for TS meals that show the adult and child credits remaining. I think the CS and S credits are still all showing up together on the receipts. Hope you have a great time.

I just wanted to add a little tip we found out when we were staying last week. If you get a little sidetracked and you probably will in Disney Just go to the concierge desk and they will print out how many remaining you have of each type of credit and where you have used your other credits. We used this in the middle of the week and realized we still had an extra CS credit that we used for breakfast the day we left. Hope this helps.
