I know with the adults they scans the fingers with an adult AP. Do they do that with the kids AP too?

I was wondering b/c I take only one child at a time to WDW. ANd if I took my son, with a child AP, and then 6 months later, take my daughter with the same child AP, could I do that? Just wanna know. :confused3

as far as I know, yes they are doing the same scan with kids.

Aren't names on APs anyway?

They aren't scanning kids but the child's name is on the card. There is no way you could buy a one annual pass for Child A and use it for Child B.

I dont recall WDWs but I know at DL when I scan my pass it shows my name on the little screen thing they have- and I bet they'd get suspicuos when Doug Jones is a 4 year old girl...

WDW has the name come up on the little screen as well. I agree with the poster who said that it would look really weird for the girl to have a boys name come up. A CM paying attention may even call you on it. Now you have to teach your daughter to lie and claim to have your son's name. This may be more nerve wracking than just buying the proper tickets. If it were me, I would buy the extra days on the children's passes while they are cheap now. This way if you plan a trip past the 10th birthday, you will be able to have them get their admission at a child's price and not an adults

Ahh, to go back in time and rename our kids all the same name. "George Forman" has a nice ring to it. .... *thinking* .... or .... I believe there's a college in the US with a free scholarship program to any child with a certain birth name.... can't recall the name or location of the school though.

I wasn't planning on LYING to anyone  I just wanted to know how they work. I didn't know they had names on them.
The chances of me getting any kind of AP was like 5% if that.

But for those who think you can't get around the name thing. I would put Bailey me sons name on the AP, and that could go either way :rolleyes1

What are they going to do? check my kids ID?? hahahha!

Anyway, I'm not buying the AP's, not for me or my child. I have never been to WDW more then once a year, and don't think I will be. They get enough of my money once a year. :earsgirl:
